The Workshop
Not Just a Factory. A Place Where Things Are Made Right.
Walk into our Foshan workshop on any given Tuesday, and you will see the same thing: people who genuinely care about the piece in front of them. A cutter measuring twice before touching blade to fabric. A finisher running their hand along a seam, checking for a smoothness only fingertips can detect.
Every SIMIER product passes through 27 distinct quality checkpoints before it earns the right to ship. That sounds like a lot. It is. But when your furniture is going to live in someone's home — it deserves that kind of attention.
1. Material Selection & Cutting
Every piece of wood is hand-selected for grain, color, and stability. No two boards are the same — and we treat each one accordingly. Our cutters average 12 years of experience. They read the grain the way a chef reads a recipe.
2. Frame Assembly & Joinery
Mortise and tenon. Double dowel. Corner block. These are not buzzwords — they are the joints that determine whether a sofa creaks on year two or stays silent for decades. Every frame is assembled by hand, squared by eye, and checked with a level before it moves forward.
3. Upholstery & Finishing
Fabric is stretched, stapled, and trimmed by hand. Seams are double-stitched. Cushions are filled to precise densities — specified per seat, per backrest, per arm. The difference between a good sofa and a great one is in the tension of a single seam.
